General Questions Q: How often are updates made?

A: This even after 4 and half years of Hentai Palm it really depends on how much time we have to upload, write a news article and import the pictures. It also has to do with the times I can update, if it is really busy on the server, updates can be delayed with a day. But as long you read the news articles on the main site, you are mostly up to date to on the website events.

Q: What is the meaning of the tumbnail box colors?

A: This is the well known system of Hentai Palm. You get the orange color boxes for your Free pictures and the redish colored ones for you GT pictures. Meaning you can see the entire picture based on the background color of the tumbnail. This makes it easy for everyone to see which picture belongs to what section.

So to say Hentai Palm is a multi level site. And there for, we made it clear for all the visitors of this site, what they can access tons of hentai without having to log in or have to pay for a GT key. Making this also an ideal place for regular visits even if you don't have a creditcard.

Free Surfers [people that didn't get a free hentaikey] - 50% of site content They can see the Orange Pictures (so the Tumbnails & Pictures with a Orange background) And they can see the Red Tumbnails. (just not watch the full pictures without a GT key) GT Hentai Key Surfers [Paid Key] - 100% of site content They can see the Orange Pictures (so the tumbnails with a Orange background) They can see the Red Pictures (so the tumbnails with a Red background) In other words they have full access to everything.

Q: When there are Technical Errors on the site, how long does it take to fix?

A: This completely depends on Barros or Mathias speed, normally it takes a week, sometimes a day. We try our best to get everything fixed as soon as possible. Major errors can be fixed in a matter of hours. Although this is completely in the hands of the Technical Staff.

Q: How do I contact the webmasters?

A: You can contact us through the Forum or through the Contact us section. Q: What happens to Contact e-mails? A: We read them, of course. However we don't always have time to reply to your e-mail. Q: Why are the pictures censored?

A: If a picture is censored, we honestly didn't do that. We just don't have the time or intention to do that heh. Some visitors e-mailed me with asking why I censored all the pictures, but I can assure you, I haven't. The artists of the pictures itself, censored their art. Q: Is Hentaipalm.com really a free site?

A: As said before Hentai Palm is a multi level site. There is 1 huge free section and 1 even bigger pay section. - We have a free section with 47.000+ pictures in it at the moment (April 2006), this section grows with every update. And it doesn’t require any kind of signup. That makes Hentai Palm unique. - The biggest section is called the GT section (or Elite). To enter this section you require a Hentaikey GT, which costs $29.95 (USD) a month (about 21 Euro). With the GT key you can access over 5000+GB (5TB) of hentai content. Q: How does the content system work?

A: The content is spread by an automatic importer system. (Which means, I upload the pictures. And that is all I do). The importer sorts the the pictures automaticly and randomly in the galleries. I can modify pictures hand by hand on access level, however when importing, I have no control over what picture goes to what section. (unlike some people think, but really you think I can sort thousands of pictures on section?). Doujinshi and Manga on the other hand are manually set to a certain section. Back to Top

Q: What is a GT key?

A: It's simply the name for the membership you can take on the Hentai Key network, where Hentai Palm and most of Hentai Group's websites belong to. It gives you access to an inhumanly big hentai collection with more then 5TB of content in overal spread over the Hentai Key GT websites.

Q: What can I access with GT key?

A: All websites that are listed on Hentaikey.com. This means you can access those full movie sites like Moviepalm , Hentai Pyramid , Doujin-World Translations and many many other websites. Not only that on Hentai Palm you get access to all the content on the site itself! This is massive to begin with. Imagine yourself browsing to galleries with more then 110.000+ pictures (April 2006). Downloading full movies from Moviepalm and get the latest games from Hentai Pyramid. And get the Manga's you always wanted from Mangapalm. Q: I signed up for Hentaikey, I log in but I get main page again.

A: This is almost always a case of an firewall or router misconfiguration. In most cases routers will not cause any problems, but sometimes in combination with a firewall it might prevent some people from logging in properly. We suggest to disable your firewall at the moment you log in. This problem is mainly caused by our php system, and it actually always been there. There is not other solution other then disabling your firewall to get in. If you still in doubt you can always check the Bug topic on the forum.

Q: Firewall issues

A: Firewalls that are known to cause problems are the following. Windows Firewall (on highest setting) Solution: Disable it, or lower the safety level. ZoneAlarm Solution: Disable the program or add Hentai Palm to the green list. Norton Firewall Solution: On highest level it might cause problems, lower the security level or disable it temporarily.

A: Cookies have to be enabled when you try to log in. If you don't enable your cookies it will give an error log in. Be warned!

Q: Java Issues

A: Enable your Java. All the new browsers already have Java installed. Like Opera, Avant, FireFox and many others. However if you are still running on a older version of Windows XP you have to update. Or atleast install Java. You can download the required program from: Java.com

Q: Problems with Security Code

A: Security Code issues have been popping up alot recently, this has much to do thanks to the new IE 7 browser and the update AOL Browser. Both seem greatly dislike the image code system, even though we already made some minor fixes to the current system trying to make it compatible with both those browsers, we only have a 50% success rate right now. Some people will be able to log in fine others don't. We did test extensively with FireFox and found no errors what so ever so for those that don't use Firefox yet (far more better browser to begin with) we might recommand to download it at http://www.getfirefox.com

Q: Saved pictures turn to .bmp files

A: If you are saving pictures to your HDD and suddenly they go from regular .jpg/.png or .gif pictures to .bmp files. It is not a problem on our end. Internet Explorer (M$ product) is famous for doing that. When the Temp Internet Files on your computer gets too big it starts screwing up the files. To fix this problem is very easy actually. Just clear your Temp Internet Files and you reopen the page, it should be fixed now. This error is not exclusively to IE but rarely happens with other browsers. This error also happens when using the latest IE (IE7).

Q: I entered the verfication code wrong, now it says I can't log in! What should I do?

A: If you entered the Verfication code wrong the first try, click your browsers "Back" button, then press F5 or click the "Refresh" button so the verfication code changes. Then try again. If you entered your username and password correctly you can log in properly now.

Q: I logged in, but it says my account is frauded.What should I do?

A: Please follow the steps on the Fraud Warning page. E-mail to the e-mail address displayed there and give your Username/Country you are from. And if you would be so kind to give the reason why you think it was blocked. And we will dubble check your country and remove your ban or in some cases keep you banned.

Q: I use proxies for this site, but when I log in I get fraud detection?

A: Yes, it will see you as another user, using proxies will cause the account to be frauded, as do logging in from another location. If you can give us a reason why your account was blocked (like logged in at a internet cafe) we can dubble check everything faster.

Q: How come I get fraud messages on HentaiGroup sites? And not on other HKey sites?

A: Because HentaiGroup sites using their own protection system that checks for dual log ins. And blocks shared keys that way. We always report people that have alot of fraud attempts. So Hentaikey can look into it and delete the key if needed.

Q: What is this Hentai ID people are talking about?

A: As most people might know Hentai Palm used to have 3 sections instead of 2. 1 Free Public, 1 Free Sign Up and 1 GT sign up, due to modifications in the Hentai Key structure, Hentai Key Free has been removed from their system. However a new system will be put in place named Hentai ID. Because it's not online YET we cannot apply it out our site. It's that simple. As soon Hentai ID launches we will add this function once again to Hentai Palm, giving everyone free access to the website by free sign up, like before. Atleast that's the plan.
